You use cardboard or plywood on the grass.

We went to El Parque de la Paz today, about a 15 minute walk from our house. This is a popular place for kite flying, and sliding. We went with another family and their 3 small children.

Here are a few pictures of our day…..

For more pics, click HERE.

And HERE is a short video too.

There is a big hill right in the middle of the park.

.

The mountains surround this whole area.

.

There were plenty of kites for sale.

.

The views from the top were really great. (OK, Mike, not as great as some of the places you’ve been.)

.

We thought we’d try our hand at the cardboard.

Not quite the same as on snow, but a lot of fun anyway!!

Those views look pretty fine to me. And just a 15 minute walk from your house! Not too shabby. Plus the view shows lots of other hills that need to be climbed…

Hey Guys, looks like you crashed! Hard to steer that cardboard? We’re not ready for snow in Maine yet. Congratulations on your A’s.
